A Great Evening for More Lemons

The "Girls' Night Out" at the Arts Center of Corvallis was great fun last night - and it gave me the chance to not only create a fresh new lemon tree for my collection (not quite yet finished - but getting there), but also to meet and visit with some wonderful people and arts supporters. Many thanks to everyone who stopped by to say "Hello" and see my work in progress!


For those of you waiting for painting No 2 of my holiday sale (sorry, No 1 sold fairly quickly) - it will just be a bit longer. I'll have a lovely little orange bowl ready to purchase this evening. Thanks for looking and for your wonderful support!

Bicycling Fever

I think I've caught the Corvallis Bicycle fever! I biked/walked to the kids' school 5 times today, in addition to biking up to OSU to deliver a print to a customer and then biking downtown to the PO to ship off some orders. Whew, I'm so tired!

Girls' Night Out in Corvallis!

Come see me paint (and see my latest painting shown here) at The Arts Center in beautiful downtown Corvallis, Oregon. To celebrate their annual holiday show (going on now!), The Arts Center is hosting a "Girls' Night Out" starting a 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 20. There will be live music, and I've been asked to participate by having a painting demonstration! If you are in the area, I hope you can come and join in the fun!

My Ocean Sanctuary

Because I have such an affinity for the ocean, I think my warm colors just permeate the painting for sheer joy. Like my son said, "I don't see any Orange". And I responded, "but I do". I see my favorite places with coral-colored glasses! I hope you enjoy the final piece, and look for it at my next show this weekend in Port Townsend, WA!
