Plein Air

It's time to get serious about painting outside and enjoying this beautiful season! I hiked along the Padilla Bay Trail in Skagit County yesterday and had a great time painting this image. I forgot my sun lotion for my first outing of the season though, I got a little burn where I wasn't covered up! Thank goodness I remembered my hat! Look for more of my plein air paintings coming soon.
